While my love of cooking and baking came from my mom, I inherited my love of photography from my dad. He helped me learn the ins and outs of the SLR (no, not DSLR… I’m talking about the ones with film) when I took a photography class in high school. I am always amazed by his ability to capture amazing and inspiring photographs from the ordinary things surrounding him. Lucky for us, each year for Christmas, he gives us a calendar full of his favorite photographs from the year!
I am still developing my photography skills (and you can see my “progress” by going back through a few of my older posts… eek!). Many of you are already familiar with my food photographs. I don’t just take food photos, though! I have been taking photos of concerts, vacations, scenery, and anything else that strikes my fancy for years!
