Let’s Eat…


I’m taking a break from recipes today…

I know, it’s a bit different. If you came for buttercream frosting, you’ll find it here. If you’re looking for shredded beef tacos, they’re here. Or, perhaps you’re looking to make some homemade Oreos. I’ve got those right here.

Cinnamon Rolls for a Crowd


This didn’t start with me.

I can still smell the warmth of the kitchen on a brisk December afternoon. We would arrive, bundled in our coats, stomping snow from our boots.  The layers of hats, gloves, and scarves would peel off as we climbed the stairs to say hello.

Though she was busy at work, bustling in front of the stove, scurrying to put dinner on the table, she always had time to greet the family, especially her grandchildren. After all, we were the ones she was baking for. Continue Reading

Tea for Two Party


Last week, the kiddo turned two. I’m still trying to wrap my brain around it.

Fortunately, I was pretty busy planning her 2nd birthday party, and I had very little time to sit around and lament how quickly the time has gone. In fact, I’m not sure I sat down at all last week.
