If you’re looking at my site today thinking that something looks a bit different, you are correct… Actually, there are a few things that are different, but they are subtle. It’s not a full facelift (I can only handle one of those a year… maybe even one every two years)… Instead, it’s more like new lipgloss or a slightly new haircut.
I spent the weekend working on making a few changes that have been on my to do list for a while. Nothing is drastically different, but I think I have made some improvements. I hope you will find that things are easier to find and more accessible. And, I have even taken the time to update a few of the previously neglected pages!
I know what it’s like when someone organizes your cabinets for you and then you can’t find anything… So, I thought I’d give you a quick overview of the changes I’ve made so that you still know where to find everything!
- Tips and Tutorials – My Works for Me Wednesday posts have been very popular lately. I know everyone can use a few quick recipes and kitchen tips, so I’ve added an index of my posts to the new Tips and Tutorials page!
- Kitchen Bootcamp – The Kitchen Bootcamp page is now accessible from the main menu and has been updated so that all of the important Kitchen Bootcamp details are easy to find. You’ll see that the page highlights the current challenge, provides information on how to participate, and also shows a list of the completed challenges. The following other Kitchen Bootcamp pages are easily accessible, as well…
- Community – It’s more than just a funny TV show! I love being a part of the food blogging community, so I have added a brand new Community page to the site to highlight the other great food bloggers that I know and love! In the community section, I have added two new pages…
- Photography – The Photography page, though not new, has finally been updated with a photo gallery… It took me long enough! I’m still not done with this one, and hope to add a few more galleries in the weeks to come.
- Shop – This is another one that has been a long time in the making! I have finally added an Amazon store to the site to share a few of my favorite products. I only have a few products listed at the moment, but I plan to add more in time for some holiday shopping!
- About – Want to know more about me and why I blog? I’ve added a new About page to tell you a bit more about the blog and help you find the information you’re looking for…
You may also discover that a few other things look just a bit different, but the other changes are very minor – new Social Media buttons to make it easier for you to share you favorite posts, threaded comments, featured images, etc.
