Kitchen Bootcamp Roundup – Yeast Breads

Can you believe we’re at the end of the second month of the Kitchen Bootcamp challenge? The summer has been flying by! I’m so excited that so many of you decided to participate in this month’s challenge… Especially since I chose yeast breads! I know it was a challenge for many people, but I definitely think that making homemade bread is a great skill to have!

I took on three bread recipes this month – Steak Rolls, Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread, and Focaccia!

If you read my blog regularly, I’m sure you have seen a few of the recipes from The Other Side of 50 in my Friday Favorites. Mags is quite the bread baker, and I was thrilled to see that she made these incredible Whole Wheat Cinnamon Raisin Bagels for this month’s challenge!

I was lucky enough to have Mardi from eat. live. travel. write. visit me last week, so we decided to work on her recipe for this month’s challenge together.  We made a Whole Wheat Pizza Dough topped with fresh heirloom tomatoes, kale, and mozzarella cheese!

I was thrilled to see not just one, but two posts from That’s Just Me for this month’s challenge! Be sure to check out both the Wheat Oatmeal Bread Kneaded By Hand and the Bread Dough Mixed in the Food Processor…  I think both loaves look pretty fantastic!

I don’t typically bake white bread, but I am loving the look of this Japanese-Style White Bread from Joy’s Misadventures! Be sure to check out the photos in the post… What a beautiful loaf of bread!

I love this No Fuss Focaccia Bread from Tracey’s Culinary Adventures… I am definitely adding this recipe to my must-make list. I can imagine how wonderful it would be for making panini!

I’m so thrilled that everyone decided to join me for this Kitchen Bootcamp challenge… I’ll be announcing next month’s challenge very soon!
