Last night, I came home from my day of Ikea shopping to find out that a construction crew that has been digging up stuff on our road (you can tell I know nothing about construction… I’m sure they have some purpose other than “digging up stuff” but they never shared it with me) cut through the fiber cable and KILLED MY INTERNET (and TV, but that’s not such a big deal to me). How dare they? Lucky for them, it is now back on.
It probably wouldn’t have bothered me quite as much, but these are the same people who broke through the water main just a few short weeks ago. Call me crazy, but isn’t that why they put all of that spraypaint all over the street to mark where the stuff is underground that they’re *not* supposed to dig up? I’m wondering if these people are actually authorized to be digging up stuff on our road… Maybe we should look into that.

Man what are those workers doing? Do they not know it’s hard to run a blog with no internet? I feel your pain. At my bosses house they have been doing something with water line and have the whole road ripped up, so there is no street parking, and sometimes they shut the water off and finally the kicker. Their backhoe thingy crushed the steps that I use to walk from the street up to my bosses house. Damn construction…
