This is my second time making these rolls. I loved them the first time as I am a cabbage nut. This time I used leftover shredded turkey and they smell absolutely delicious again! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

My husband made these tonight after I found the recipe on Tastespotting.com. We are vegetarian so we replaced the beef with TVP. Anyway, your recipe is so delicious! They came out perfect and we loved them. I even had one for breakfast. =)Thanks!

Very Cool. I too have been making Golumpkis (my Polish roots) and this would be an AWESOME twist on what I have always known. The polish version uses rice with the beef which I still would include. BTW, when I make cabbage rolls. I put my cabbage in in the freezer. You can either put the whole head in or pull off the number of leaves you think you will need and put in a ziploc and put in the freezer for a few days. Just thaw and use. They are so much more flexible and no worries about burned hands! Just a suggestion if you wanted to try it!

I am TOTALLY loving cabbage lately, and this dish is so interesting! I have never thought of using cabbage leaves as a wrap! And then you make it even MORE delicious by adding all of that flavor! Those are gorgeous!
