This coming Saturday, my neighborhood is having our annual community yard sale. My husband and I decided it would be a great time to clean out our basement, so we will be participating in the festivities for the first time this year. As I was thinking about it, it dawned on me that a yard sale (especially a community yard sale that is advertised and well attended) would be a perfect time to host a bake sale for Share Our Strength. I have wanted to host one for a while, so I decided to sign up and go for it!
Unfortunately, I only have one week to pull it all together. I am going to take Friday off and spend the day baking. I haven’t decided what all I will make, but I will keep you posted! Hopefully I will also get some donations of baked goods from some friends. I am really looking forward to it!
